How LinkRobin works: discovery, scoring, outreach and verification
This page documents what LinkRobin does at each stage, what it deliberately leaves to you, and what evidence it keeps. It is the reference we hold ourselves to.
What is LinkRobin?
LinkRobin is white hat link building software. It analyses your website, finds pages that relate to it, scores each opportunity with a plain English reason, drafts outreach for that specific page, sends from your own inbox after you approve, and then verifies the link on the live page.
It is built for founders, in house SEO teams and agencies who want earned links they can defend, and a record they can hand to a client.
1. Site analysis
LinkRobin reads your public pages and builds a profile: what the business does, who it serves, the topics you cover and the tone you write in. Everything later depends on this profile being accurate, so it is visible and editable rather than hidden.
2. Opportunity discovery
The opportunity types LinkRobin looks for:
- Resource pages and curated reference lists.
- Unlinked mentions of your brand, product or people.
- Broken link replacement, where a cited source no longer resolves.
- Guest contribution opportunities at publications that cover your subject.
- Partner and integration pages.
- Digital PR and journalist requests.
- Niche directories with real editorial review.
3. Scoring
Each opportunity is scored on separate factors, each shown with its reasoning:
- Topical relevance: how closely the page relates to what you actually do.
- Site quality: whether the site publishes for readers rather than for links.
- Estimated response likelihood: how reachable the right person appears to be.
- Estimated effort: what you would need to produce to earn the placement.
- Risk: signals that suggest paid placements or link schemes.
- A composite score, with the factors that drove it stated in plain English.
Scores are estimates from observable signals, not predictions. Where a signal is missing, LinkRobin says so rather than filling the gap.
4. Outreach drafting and approval
Drafts are written from the specific page being pitched, in your voice, and labelled as AI drafts in the queue. You edit or reject anything. Sending uses your own connected mailbox with a daily limit you set, so replies land where you already work.
5. Link verification
A link is only reported as live after LinkRobin has:
- Fetched the live page and confirmed your destination URL is present.
- Read the anchor text and the rel attribute as published.
- Captured a dated screenshot of the placement in context.
If a link later disappears, the record keeps the dates so the history stays honest. Nothing is reported that has not been checked.
Ethical outreach and link quality standards
- No buying, selling or exchanging links to pass ranking signals.
- No private blog networks or sites built to host outbound links.
- No fabricated data, results or testimonials in any pitch.
- No sending without the sender's explicit approval.
- Honour opt outs immediately, and keep volumes at a level a human could sustain.
AI usage disclosure
LinkRobin uses AI models to summarise pages, score opportunities and draft outreach. AI output is always presented as a draft for a person to review, and no message is sent automatically. Product pages and guides on this site are written and reviewed by the LinkRobin team.
Frequently asked questions
Does LinkRobin buy links?
No. LinkRobin only pursues links a publisher can choose to add. Paid placements, link exchanges and private blog networks are outside what the product does.
Does LinkRobin send email without approval?
No. Drafts wait in an approval queue. Sending happens from your own connected Gmail or Outlook inbox after you approve the message.
Can LinkRobin guarantee links or rankings?
No, and neither can anyone else. Placements depend on editors deciding to add them, and rankings depend on search systems nobody controls.
What does LinkRobin not automate?
Judgement. You approve every prospect and every message, you write anything that needs your expertise, and you decide which relationships are worth keeping.
